Dr. Julia Baryla, MD, FRCSC

Dr. Julia Baryla is an Ophthalmologist specializing in Cataract surgery. A graduate of the University of Ottawa, she did her Residency training at the University of Western Ontario and went on to become an Associate Specialist in Cornea and external Diseases at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London, England, before returning to Canada.

Dr. Alfred Basilious, MD, FRCSC 

Dr. Basilious is a Cataract and Anterior Segment Surgeon who has worked with The Ottawa Hospital and been a lecturer at the University of Ottawa.  He completed medical school, and his Ophthalmology Residency at the University of Toronto, after which Dr. Basilious completed a surgical fellowship in Cornea and Anterior Segment at Le Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal.

Dr. Frank Bastianelli, MD, FRCSC

Dr. Bastianelli is an Ophthalmologist and Cataract Surgeon.  He completed his medical degree at the University of Ottawa, studied two years Internal Medicine at St. Michael’s Hospital at the University of Toronto, then completed his Residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Ottawa.

Dr. Bastianelli is an Ophthalmologist specializing in Cataract surgery.  He has been a long-standing member of the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Medicine.  

Dr. Erdit Celo, MD, FRCSC

Dr. Erdit Celo, MD, FRCSC, is an Ophthalmologist specializing in Cataract Surgery who completed his Residency training at Dalhousie University, and his Uveitis & Ocular Immunology Fellowship at the University of Montreal.  He is a member of Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, Canadian Ophthalmological Society, and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Alex Lai Chi Tam, MD, FRCSC 

Dr. Alex Tam is an Ophthalmologist who specializes in Cataract surgery. He studied medicine at the University of Toronto, then completed his Residency studies in Ophthalmology at Queen’s University, where he served as the Chief Resident. Dr. Tam has extensive research experience and has been widely published in peer-reviewed publications.
